Problem with Registration

Dear Sergei,

We have purchased WAPT Pro 2.0. It is an excellent tool that meets all our requirements related to load testing our .Net Ajax websites and thanks for providing such a wonderful tool.

We have and installed the same on our India office generated the scripts everything ran fine till then. Then since we have our office in US as well, and also because since due to our testing requirements we needed to uninstall this software from one machine and needed to install it in other machines. And we started facing problems! Let me state our requirement clearly.

* We have 1 WAPT license with 2 load agents. [so we expect that the main application can be installed in one machine, and the load agents can be installed in 2 other machines]

1) We need to install the licensed version of WAPT Pro in our India office. Test the application. [After this we need to uninstall the application from all the three machines]

2) Then, we need to install the licensed version of WAPT Pro in our US office. Test the application. [After this we need to uninstall the application from all the three machines]

3) We need to repeat this task for various Hardware/Software combinations both from India and US.

As you could see everything is logical and we are not expected to face any problems, since as our licensed version is expected to permit, at one time WAPT major program would be installed only in one machine and load agents in 2 machines (total 3 machines).

 

Problem:

Even though everything ran fine when we installed it in the first time in our India office, when we uninstalled it from those machines and tried to install the application in other machines and register it started giving problems! Now WAPT will never register (and will become the licensed version), how ever we may try! Once or twice in some machine it got installed and became registered, but on re-booting it again shows that it is the trial version and not the registered version. What the heck is going on we wonder!

What is the mechanism you use to track licenses? What can we do to avoid such problems? Coming to you when we have a licensed application, and when the features are good enough and works fine seems odd. Can you help us to resolve this issue at the earliest please.
