Guest quyen Report post Posted August 16, 2010 Hello, How do I enable cookies in WAPT Pro 2.0? I read somewhere in this forum that even though Firefox was selected as User Agent, IE is still used fro recording. Is this still the case? Thanks Quyen
Guest Daniel Kras Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Dear Quyen, WAPT PRO 2.0 works with cookies as any other browser and this feature is enabled by default settings. WAPT does not use any browser to emulate users during the test. It does all the work itself. However it uses IE to record profiles. IE is used only for profile creation. You can set Firefox as user agent in settings and this info should be used for sending into server and tests.
Guest quyen Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Hello Daniel, Thank you for the quick response. I am using WAPT to load test the dbabble chat server. I was able to record with cookies enabled (for user name & password), but when I played back w/o modifications to the recorded requests, the server sent back a message saying that cookies were not enabled by the browser. Any idea of what is going on? Thanks Quyen
