Dynamic Data/Correlation

Recommended Posts

Guest Messier11

Hi,

My company just purchased a copy of WAPT and WSOP for SAPWeb performance testing.

I have been attempting to correlate my SAPWeb scripts. I have set the option to "Search for dynamic data contained in the hidden fields of HTML forms". But I do NOT know of the exact left and right boundaries of other dynamic data that exists in my scripts. Is there a way that WAPT can find the data for me or do I have to find it manually. If manually, how would I do that. In LoadRunner, when scripting Web scripts, you can autocorrelate the scripts without specifying the boundaries.

Another thing, the hidden variables that are found after recording the script, do I need to alter them, or are they already sufficient?

Please advise.

Hi,

You will have to find and set left and right boundaries manually. Unfortunately, so far we haven't had an automatic search.

As for hidden variables, most probably, you will not need to perform any additional actions with them.
