Guest Brad Report post Posted February 15, 2011 Hi, Sometimes I get an error message saying: test failed. not enough storage is available to process this command. [0x80070008] Is this just Wapt hitting it's memory limits? I was running a large test, headed towards 5000 users with no think time (intentionally trying to break the web server). Once it happened around 4400 users and another time it happened at only 2400 users? It's Wapt 7.1 on a Windows XP workstation with a quad core processor and 2GB ram. The same system has completed the same test at 4000 users. Thanks for any information. ...Brad
sergei 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 1500 - 2000 virtual users are an average limit for WAPT. For more users emulation we made WAPT Pro.
Guest Brad Report post Posted February 16, 2011 Thanks, Overall I've had good luck on this newer PC taking it up to 4000 users (no think time). We normally wouldn't go this high but we were doing a special test on Apache's ability to serve graphics only. We may look into the pro version as well. As I understand it, with the pro version, you have an administrator interface you run on your PC and it gives instructions to "agents" which run without any GUI interface on other PCs. The agents themselves do all the "load" generation? Is the Pro version's admin interface look a lot like the regular WAPT interface? 1500 - 2000 virtual users are an average limit for WAPT. For more users emulation we made WAPT Pro.
sergei 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2011 Yes, you are right. Agents generate load and don't have GUI. WAPT Pro workplace has an interface similar to WAPT.

sergei 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2014 Yes, the Load Agent generates the all load. The WAPT Pro workplace is just an interface for a test creation and execution control. It's similar to the WAPT interface.
