Hello Angela,

 

before ask you my question to you i would like to tell you my understanding of cache in any internet browser (internet explorer, firefox, etc). these browsers are having cache. this cache keeps data, files what websites that i have visited and saves some image files too. if i want to use the same then no need to download again from internet. so the access is faster.

 

 

My question:

 

Is the WAPT also have cache?

Hi I am not able to read the above link. I have a similar question. In Apache server, we have enabled the "expires_module", so that images and static pages will not get downloaded, if it hasn't changed for some period of time say 30 days. This configuration is set in the Apache, and we could verify this setting by testing via browser. But when I use the WAPT tool, the images are always getting downloaded, is there a way to model the browser behavior on the WAPT tool. My other question is that, we have enabled the deflate module on the apache, so that the data can be compressed. How to enable this on the WAPT tool. Currently on the Default HTTP headers section I have set the following:

 

Accept = "text/html, */*"

Accept-Language = "en-us, *"

Accept-Encoding = "compress, gzip, deflate"

 

Do I need to make any other changes or settings
