Running Test without capturing results.

Recommended Posts

Guest BoC

I would like to run a test to simulate several thousand concurrent users. I don't want to capture all the performance or error information so that it does'nt create any overhead on the test. Can you run a WAPT test just to simulate users and not capture statistics?

Thanks!

No, it is not possible, since some statistics are captured in any way.

The overall maximum load created by WAPT on a web site can be measured by the number of concurrent virtual users accessing the site simultaneously. WAPT is able to create up to several thousands virtual users for the test. However this number significantly depends on your test profiles, network bandwidth, hardware and the operating system used on the computer where you run WAPT.

We are trying to simulate 6000 concurrent users but we are currenty limited at 300 for the scenarios we have built. We are reaching the limit of our network card's bandwidth. How could we maximize the number of concurrent users using WAPT ?
