Guest angela Report post Posted January 11, 2009 What is a Session? How the session values calculated for each profile with each time intervel. How Sessions Per second is calculated for earch profile with each time intervel Please let me know... Thanks in advance ... Hello, The session of each virtual user includes a single execution of Initial actions, then the repeat of Main pages, and at the end a single execution of Final actions. As for the calculation of values in Performance report. The whole test duration interval is divided into the number of intervals equal to the Dimension of tables in reports value. The program calculates averaged values through these intervals and shows them in corresponding columns of tables. If you watch tables during test run, you will see how they are being filled in: one column after another until the last column is filled in. The Total column of each table shows the results averaged through the whole test duration interval for each profile. The Total row of each table shows the results summed over all user profiles. Sessions per second This table shows the number of sessions executed per time scale unit (second, minute or hour). Pages per second This table shows the number of pages executed per time scale unit (second, minute or hour). Hits per second This table shows the number of hits executed per time scale unit (second, minute or hour).
