Quick JavaScipt example

Hello,

 

Can i get a small javascipt example just to display what WAPT can do with javascript support.

 

Also, i want to know where to check the logs if we write anything into logs from javascript.

This is an example of JavaScript which generates GUID and outputs it to log:

 

var lib = new ActiveXObject("Scriptlet.TypeLib");

var guid = lib.GUID;

log.message(guid.substring(1, 37)); // XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX

 

You can see the generated value in the log viewer.
