Getting too Many Network Error

Today I tested my application with 100-500 Ramp up users on a dedicated Win XP, Intel core 2 duo machine with 2 GB ram having 1GBPS bandwidth, we removed and checked that firewalls are not getting in between and found that we are getting out of 11153 hits network error on 1257 hits. It’s having the following error in logs:

 

Socket error: 10060 - "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond."

Socket error: 10054 - "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

Socket error: Receive Timeout

 

I have disabled “keep alive connection” also we have increased the apache and Mysql connection limit to 1000, have increased the think time for each page to double even after that we are getting this error.

 

Most interesting thing is that previously I was on 100 mbps connection where the no of error was less but when we moved to GBPS line the no of errors got increased. (When I do normal login and logout even at such normal scenario its throwing 5-10% network error for more than 5000 hits)

 

We tested the application on Local network, HTTP and HTTPS where the least error was on Local network and highest on HTTPS. I am using admin login for the scenarios.
