WAPT has always been great in creating a high load volume with thousands virtual users. However sometimes you could miss an ability to adjust a certain load parameter according to your needs. With the new version you can specify all load characteristics separately for each user profile. Some of them can run only on certain test phases, some have limited number of sessions, etc.

Previous versions had technical limitations for certain test cases. For example, some web applications receive data in the background using streaming connections to the server while the user continues to work with the GUI. WAPT could not properly emulate this scenario, because its sessions were all linear sequences of HTTP requests. Now we introduce streaming requests that can be executed in parallel.

It is a sophisticated task to emulate a real browser activity, especially if you need to generate thousands users from a single system. It is even harder if you take into account that browsers also evolve. Now WAPT includes additional features to handle custom request headers and new authentication schemes. It can also use multiple connections to load page elements, while previous versions used only a single one.

Pricing and availability: WAPT and WAPT Pro evaluation versions are provided with the 30 days trial period. The products will be fully functional on your system during this time, except that the maximum number of virtual users will be limited to 20. The license prices are $450 and $900 for standard and professional versions respectively.
