Purchasing method
You
can buy WAPT Pro online by filling out the
online purchase form.
Registration
Upon completion of purchasing procedure, a
unique serial number will be sent to you by e-mail. The number is required to
register the program using one of the following procedures: online registration registration by e-mail
If you forgot or lost your serial number,
please send us your order ID and specify your name, company name and e-mail
address you used to buy your copy of WAPT Pro. Upon receipt of
this information, we will send you the serial number.
Online registration
On the Help menu, choose the Enter Your Serial Number... command.
Registration window will appear.
Enter your serial number in the edit box and click the Register button.
Upon successful completion of registration procedure, you will receive the
program notification informing you that you have successfully registered your
version of WAPT Pro. Just click OK.
Registration by e-mail
If the above procedure is
unsuccessful due to network connection problems, use the Register by e-mail... option.
Enter your serial number
and click the Register by e-mail... button. The program will generate a message with all the
necessary registration information and open it in your default e-mail client.
You will only need to send this message to support@loadtestingtool.com.
If you do not have a default e-mail client, the program
will show the E-mail registration dialog. Just copy the information from this dialog
(either with the Copy to clipboard button or manually), save it to a file and
send the file to support@loadtestingtool.com.
Upon receipt, we will send you the special activation code. To complete the registration, you will need to enter
that code in the registration dialog (on the same machine where your registration info message was generated), i.e.
you should click the Enter activation code... button and enter the code.
Checking the registration
To check your registration status, select the
About WAPT Pro... option on the Help menu. If the registration is
successful, you will see the words Registered version at the
bottom of dialog box, and also the number of available Load Agents.
If you experience any problems
during the registration process, please send a letter to
support@loadtestingtool.com.
We will be happy to assist you with the registration.
How to extend the limit of available Load Agents
After you register your copy of WAPT Pro, you will be able to
use 2 Load Agents to perform your tests.
If you need to use more agents simultaneously for your distributed test runs,
you should buy a license for additional serial numbers.
Each serial number provides you with one additional agent.
To register your new Load Agent, click the Enter New Load Agent Serial Number... option
on the Help menu. You will see the registration window:
Enter the Load Agent serial number in the edit box and click the Register button.
Upon successful completion of registration procedure, you will receive a notification informing you
that you have successfully registered the new Load Agent. Just click OK.
If the above procedure is unsuccessful due to network connection problems, use the Register by e-mail... option
in the registration dialog. The next step is the same as for registration of WAPT Pro.
We will send you the special activation code. To complete the registration of new Load Agent, you will need to enter
that code in the registration dialog, i.e. you should
click the Enter activation code... button and enter the code.
Checking the number of available Load Agents
The number of available Load Agents is displayed on the title bar of WAPT Pro Workplace.
If, for example, you registered one additional Load Agent, then you can use 3 agents
simultaneously in your tests to emulate user activity and generate the load.
